New Member Recognition

The Douglas County Chamber of Commerce is a great place to get recognition and promote your business. New members have the opportunity to introduce themselves at all three of our monthly networking events. New members also receive special recognition in Chamber Matters.

Ribbon Cuttings & Ground Breakings
Ribbon Cutting & Ground breaking ceremonies are a free service that we provide to Chamber Members only. These events are held on either Tuesdays or Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. and offer you a chance to introduce your business to our community. Don’t worry!  We take care of most of the logistics for you. We’ve got the giant scissors and red ribbon and we know who to invite.  We will send out e-mail invitations to fellow Chamber members, the Chamber Board of Directors, Chamber Diplomats, and City and County elected officials.  We also take care of the follow up.  We will submit your contact info and photos to Chapel Hill News & Views, dctv 23, CITI TV and the Douglas County Sentinel for publication. Talk about exposure!
