Hi everyone, I am Katrina.
I am known in the community for my work as the Executive Director at The Douglas County Task Force on Family Violence, Inc. I have called Douglas County home since 2004. All three of my children attended Douglas County Schools, and both me and my husband, live, work, and play in Douglas County. We are so proud to call Douglas our home!
What many folks don’t know about me is that I am a cyclist. When I want to relax and remove the chaos of the day, I head out to Boundary Waters Park and hit up the Chattahoochee Hill Country Greenway Trail. Did you even know that this was part of our community?!
The trail at Boundary Waters Park is a paved trail, wide enough for walking, running, jogging, or cycling. It is absolutely gorgeous and scenic and is never short of wildlife. As a thrill-seeker, Boundary Waters Park also offers unpaved bike trails. The unpaved bike trails offer beautiful views with rolling hills. Boundary Waters Park is truly a nature lover’s paradise, which allows you to leave the hustle and bustle of the day. Who knew such fun options were right here in Douglas? I’m so glad I discovered them and have made them a part of my self-care routine and even a date night with my husband!
This is me, Katrina. And THIS…is Douglas.
